FRAGRANCE

REED DIFFUSERS

First things first, let's talk reeds. Over time, they can get clogged with oil and lose their magical fragrance-dispersing powers. So, keep an eye out for any signs of reduced scent throw or discoloration. When you notice these, it's time to bid farewell to your old reeds and welcome in the fresh ones for maximum aroma goodness!

Now, let's talk location. Reed diffusers are like stylish roommates who love to be in the limelight. Place them in well-ventilated areas where air can freely circulate, like entryways, living rooms, or bathrooms. Avoid placing them near heat sources or in direct sunlight to prevent the oil from evaporating too quickly.

Caring for your reed diffuser glassware is as important as choosing the right scent. Cleanse the vessel regularly by gently hand washing with warm, soapy water. This will remove any residue and keep it looking sparkly and fresh. Pro tip: Use a soft cloth or sponge to avoid scratching the glass.

SCENTED CANDLES

ENSURE YOUR CANDLE BURNS EVENTLY
When you light a candle for the first time, it is advisable to let the candle burn for a while until the entire surface of the wax is melted to avoid the phenomenon that the wax circle around the outer edge of the candle cup will never burn, reducing the lifespan of the candle.

KEEP THE CANDLE CLEAN
After using the candle a few times, you may notice soot and other debris or dust build up on the wax surface. Use dry paper towels or tweezers to remove to avoid leaving fingerprints on the wax surface and causing loss of aesthetics.

TRIM THE CANDLE'S WICK
In order for the candle to burn evenly, the length of the candle wick is quite important. Candle wicks should be cut/trimmed about 0.75cm from the wax surface to ensure the wick is not too short and falls into the melting wax or the wick tip is burned black from previous uses.

MINIMIZE MESS WHEN PUTTING OUT YOUR CANDLE
After use, extinguishing the candle is also a necessary skill to ensure safety when using and at the same time prolong the lifespan of the candle. If your scented candle has a lid, when you turn the candle off, you can gently close the lid and the candle will gradually extinguish. If your candle does not have a lid, you can use a snuffer to extinguish the candle. In case of blowing your candle out, do it gently to avoid splashing the wax and causing burns when it comes into contact with the skin or surface where the candle is kept.

At the same time, you can use specialized tweezers to dip the candle wick into the melting wax and put the wick back up for future use.

RETIRE YOUR CANDLE WITH WAX IN IT
Avoid using scented wax when the candle is about to run out because it can damage the container. You should use candles when the scented wax is about 1cm from the bottom of the cup so you can reuse the candle cup as a vase or for storage.

To clean the remaining wax in the cup, you can pour hot water into the cup and leave it for a while, the remaining wax will float to the surface of the water and you can easily clean and reuse the cup.

STORE CANDLES IN COOL & DARK PLACE
Store scented candles in a cool place, away from wind and direct sunlight so that the candles do not lose their scent or color, and the wax burns evenly. Avoid leaving candles on interior surfaces as it can cause damage due to the heat emitted from the candle, use a tray or mat for best results.
