The Casanhà Sloopy sofa, a modular made-to-order design inspired by sleek Scandinavian curves, offers versatile configurations that adapt seamlessly to different living spaces. Its straight sofa option excels in small apartments common in Vietnam (e.g., 50-70m² HCMC units), while modular extensions suit medium to larger living room, ensuring optimal fit without overwhelming the area.
The biggest difference between the Sloopy and the Island sofa is the construction of comfort. While the Island is constructed like a giant bed with one continuous piece of mattress-like cushion material for maximal comfort, the Sloopy has a more segmented construction, with the seating areas clearly defined. This allows the Sloopy line to maintain its aesthetic more easily, resulting in a more structured and visually refined appearance.
LHF and RHF are standard abbreviations used in modular sofa configurations to describe the orientation of sections, especially for L-shaped or corner sofas. These terms help customers visualize how pieces fit together in their space, viewed from the front (standing facing the sofa, not sitting).
Slipcovered sofas feature removable, washable fabric covers that fit over the frame like a tailored jacket, offering practical benefits for everyday use, especially in homes with kids, pets, or frequent spills. These covers protect the underlying upholstery while allowing easy updates to style or color without replacing the entire piece.
A loose-fit sofa refers to a design where the upholstery or cushions are not tightly stretched over the frame, creating a relaxed, slightly draped or gathered appearance rather than a sleek, tailored look. This style contrasts with tight-back or fitted sofas, offering a casual, lived-in vibe popular in modern and Scandinavian-inspired living space
